We’re switching gears and changing lanes..
As most of you know Katy and I recently sold several of our WAHM & SAHM related websites. Now WAHM’s Events has been passed on to a brand new owner!
We did this to open up more time for our true passion, web design. I’m a bit sad as I pull each site from my list of links on various sites but at the same time I’m so excited about the future.
I truly love the fact that we can take on a site or a project and love it so intensely. We normally are building from the ground up, which means no page rank and almost no traffic. We breathe life into the project and then work to help build a strong visitor base. My favorite part is when we are able to see a good footing in profit generation underway. Then when we are ready to move on to something else or dive deeper into other passions hand the site over to a new owner whom will love it just as much as we do/did.
I just wanted to say thank you to all of our visitors!

Very rarely are you and I long haul site owners. We like to do exactly what you’ve said here. Create the idea, build the site, get the visitors and profit rolling and hand it to someone else who finds as much passion in the site’s future as we found in the start-up.
This is exactly why web designing works so well for us. We love the start, not always the follow through.
Now having said that, you and I both know where this is headed and of what we currently own and have plans for what will remain our “babies” forever and what will not.
Great things are happening for us, it’s nice that all this is finally being seen by more people than us and our little flock of fans.

Yep I agree it’s nice to reach out past our safe zone. While I do love the loyal customer base we have I’m both excited and a little nervous each time we branch out farther past it.
