Purses - Santa - Memphis

So I can’t sleep and thought, fock it I have to be up in and hour or two anyhow to hit the road might as well blog..

So the rents have an event at the Memphis Agricenter this weekend. I love this event!! It is probably one of my fave xmas expos that they pimp the purses at all year. Just as quickly as the purses fly off the rack at the show ppl are emailing special requests or making online purchases. Since I have some shopping to do I volunteered for the Saturday morning-afternoon time to help out. This way I have an excuse to make the cpl hour long drive to Memphis for some holiday shopping and can give the rents and staff a short break helping out at the vendor booth for a little while. Anyone in the area feel free to come out and say hello!

Santa will be at the event taking pictures.. I’m trying to think up interesting ways I can force my 11yr old son to get his picture taken. Yes you read that correctly force him to take his picture because the Midget believes he is too old for that stuff now. WTF? When are you too old for a Santa picture!?! We haven’t gone recently but just a few years ago my friends and I were still doing it. Okay so it was really me making them sit on Santa’s lap with me and the guys standing behind him but come on man get in the spirit! I’m 28yrs old and by god son this year I will coax all 40 something yrs of James along with the boys, the Midget and his son Payton, into a picture if I have to lie to get them to the mall!!

I don’t get to spend much time with Bubbie {James} these days. He’s back in law enforcement and our schedules conflict a great deal. I’m so busy with work, the midget and the hubby that life just doesn’t let me hang with my friends like it used to. That saddens the hell out of me..

On a brighter note my big brother Mike will be in for Thanksgiving!! I’m so stoked.. He along with my nephews will be down next week. He’s a Chicago snow bird and it’s hard as hell to get him down to this back woods part of the country but he’s coming!! I can hardly contain myself as I count down the days. As you guys know I’m a huge Daddy’s Girl and the poster child of Baby Sisters. My world would come to a stand still without Mike and my Dad in my life. I fully plan on getting a quick portrait sitting done of Mike and I with our boys while he’s here. Even if time only permits a quick run over to the wal-mart photo studio. I doubt the guys would sit through a long drawn out Ollan Mills sitting. But by god I will have my picture it’s a planned xmas gift for our Mom. I only wish Brian were here as well to include him and our niece Chey too. Maybe I can get that accomplished when we go up north next time.

I’m rambling and actually just noticed if I go climb back in my warm bed I can get another hour or so of sleep b4 I hit the road. Guess wtf I’m going. Have a great weekend all ..

The Holiday Market will be held at the Agricenter International. For more information, call 901-876-7007 or visit www.exposouth.com.

UGH!!! My 11yo will NOT do the Santa thing either!!! Kids, I don’t understand why they think they are too old!!! Maybe we should get them together, and have them hold Miss *Z* and just have Santa sneak in behind them when they are not looking! *rofl* What a site that would be!!!

    Have fun @ ur expo!!!
