So we’re one day away from our trip to Little Rock for John’s knee. We’re going to the Ortho Clinic to see what they have to say about his knee injury. At this point he’s sad and deflated at the fact he won’t be playing fball this year. Since he had to miss the last two weeks of practice his coach feels even if his knee is okay to play on that he’s missed to much to be prepared for their first game this weekend. I totally understand that and even if it’s just the severe bone bruise he still needs more time to heal. Getting John to understand that is another story. So to pass the time he’s been playing with his new guitar.

He loves this guitar. I need to get on the ball to finding a local instructor for him. In the mean time he is trying to play Ed King songs by hear. He’s not quite there but with a mentor like Ed those are some very very bog shoes to fill. He can’t wait to learn the basics and then master Sweet Home Alabama. He plans to perfect it and then hopes to play it for Ed and Sharon!
