WoW!! The midget had a great party, now please excuse me I need to go sleep for a week to recover…
We rented out one of the covered pavilions at the state park at John’s request. The grill was glowing with hotdogs and hamburgers. Ice cream was on ice and every inch of the place had balloons or streamers hanging from it.
Dad had a moon bounce brought in from a rental company in Monticello for the kids to jump around in. Some how I managed to fit 10 pounds of toys and candy into the record shaped pinata the midget wanted. Mom and Ash took turns manning the grill b4 sticking me with the hottest job on what seemed to be the hottest day of the year so far. The kids had a blast!! They had a water balloon fight, played the pinata game, jumped all afternoon in the moon bounce and took off for wild adventures in the woods of the park. Most were too busy playing to eat so we will end up eating burgers and dogs for a week to finish off all the food. The cake was way too big to fit into any of the coolers so it had to take it’s chances on a table. The ice cream made it well packed in tons upon tons of ice. The kiddos were wet from the balloon fight and the heat of the day. Never noticed how much that midget can sweat until today.
As you can see the cake melted but it was still yummy!! John was so excited when Dad sent him out to the van to grab an extra cooler. Instead of finding a cooler he found his new Squire guitar made by fender, Ed and Sharon King had given me a heads up on the best model to get for his age and size. He was stoked and couldn’t wait to play it. Course that would have to wait until I was able to submerge him into a tub of soap and water.. LoL He was so tired toward the end of the day I was even able to snap a picture of John and Aerial together! This is Terry’s daughter, Terry and I like to torment the kids by planning out their prearranged marriage to each other and how many grandchildren they will honor us with.. Mwahaha Nothing like teasing a boy about the little girl that has had a crush on him since they were 4yrs old. It really was a wonderful day. John had a wonderful birthday and boy did he sleep well after it was over.
