It’s always been a dream of mine to have my own in ground pool. I’ve yet to have one built on our property for several reasons.
Some of those reasons is A)Placement I just can’t decide where I want it - B)The cost might as well buy a set of matching BMWs - C)Our land is surrounded by farm fields which get sprayed & dusted on a regular basis which the wind loves to help blow all that crap into our yard - D)I’m still holding out hope to move closer to Mike in Indy.
So in the event of paying out a nice blob of cash for an in ground pool the maintanence fees will eat my ass alive. Everytime one of the crop dusters hits the area I’ll spend tons correcting the chemical levels in the pool. So we decided to buy the midget one of those above ground pools last summer. It’s quite nice for under $300 about 4ft deep I want to say about 20ft across. I love it and so does the midget! So it’s been raining off and on here along with the crop dusters being very active in the area. So over night the pool became a light green color and needed algecide to clear up the water after the rain. So I put the chemicals in and get the levels correct again which means I get to vacum the pool floor tomorow after the algecide has done it’s job.
